At the moment, life sucked. Hard.
The team had been called to a mission a little after midnight, while they were all still in their beds. Except Robin, of course, who had been on patrol. The little bird had bounded in and had literally shaken all his teammates out of bed, wincing when he discovered that Wally slept in only his boxers. His red, Flash-logo-and-heart-covered boxers.
The mission had been in New York, and while that wasn't very far from Happy Harbor, it was much further than any of the heroes were willing to go that night. M'gann tired and drowsy, had clumsily called up the bioship, nearly running over a yawning Artemis.
The onjective had been to stage a drug bust in Manhattan, while capturing the man in charge of it all, some thug going by the name of Andrew Marletti. Normally, the police would have been called in to deal with such trivial matters, but there had been rumors circulating around of giant, misshaped men who had taken this drug, and Batman had a hunch that it had something to do with the Blockbuster serum.
And so the Team was called in.
The mission had gone terribly badly, not only with the team getting battered and bruised, but Marletti had gotten away, and they didn't recover any samples of the drug.
It definitely had been Blockbuster, though that hadn't helped them much.
And so now, the team, bloody and exhausted, were on their way back to Happy Harbor, fully expecting Batman to come down on them for being complete failures. M'gann was piloting the ship, with Kaldur and Superboy sitting close by to make sure she didn't nod off.
Artemis had crashed in a chair, her head thrown back as she snored unabashedly.
Wally and Robin were sitting in the back, both wrapping their many abrasions with copius amounts of iodine and bandages. Out of all the team, those two had gotten the brunt of the injuries, the speedster facing a jagged knife wound and a sprained wrist while Robin was suffering from a concussion and a dislocated elbow.
Robin, for all his exuberance at the beginning of the mission, had now officially crashed. He had sunk into a chair, careful about the arm, and was mumbling quietly to himself. The concussion didn't help much either. Wally paused for a moment to listen to his friend.
"...Batman's gonna be so mad, and I need to..."
Holy- what the- what was that? Robin's voice had taken on a lilting tone, his T's becoming thicker, his stress put on the secon syllable of the words, a slight roll to his R's...did Robin have an accent?
"...Alfred's gonna wonder...gotta finish chem homework...need to call Babs..." Robin continued muttering. He didn't seem to be hearing himself, but Wally was listening hard enough for the both of them. Yup, that was definitely an accent. A very...foreign...accent.
"Dude?" Wally interrupted, causing Robin to jolt up and stare at his friend.
"Vut?"
"Say something."
"Vally?"
"God, say something again."
"Kay-Eff, arre you surre you arre okay? Is zere somezing I should know?"
"Dude, you have an accent."
"Vut? Shuth up. Zere is no accenth in my voice." Robin continued, and then his eyes widened as he realized what exactly he had just said. "Oh, God, I do haff an accenth." he whispered, and then clapped his hands over his mouth as though he had scared himself.
"Are you Russian or something?" Wally asked curiously.
Robin glared. "Romany, dude."
"So...you can speak Romanian?"
"No, Romany. English, Spanish, French, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and I know Sign Language. I'm pretty much a frickin' genius." Robin bragged. "When I'm tired, I guess I just slip back into the accent."
Wally stared at him for a moment before breaking out into a grin. "You totally need to have a sleep over at my place."
"Shut up."
Wally snickered. "Sure. 'Vut' ever." he imitated Dick poorly, and then contented himself with a nice punch to Robin's uninjured arm.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"That was for not telling me you had a totally cool accent."
"What?"
"You know how many chicks I could have gotten by now?"

"Kaldur! How's M'Gann?" Superboy called worriedly.
"She breathes. I believe she will recover. What of Robin?"
Fear ran through the team; all of them looking up at their unmoving team member. Artemis ran over to him, dropping her bow on the way. She pressed a hand to his chest; and another on his head. She couldn't feel him breathing. Fear coursed through her body. Darn it Robin! You're not getting out of this that easily.
"H-he's not breathing!" She shouted.
M'Gann was waking up by this time. She looked around, her eyes falling on Robin. Artemis had started pushing on his chest. She tilted his

Robins Confession
It's been three months now, that Wally had his Coming Out to Robin. Conner and Caldur had taken it with self-composure. Caldur only said, that in Atlantis same sex love was something entirely normal and Superboy, well, he just didn't care as long as Wally was happy and let him alone.
The last three months were affected by hard missions and the team had worked to its limits and beyond, when Batman called them, two days after their last missions.
The masked face of the Dark Knight appeared on the big monitor in the main hall of Mount Justice and examined the exhausted team.
"The last two months you did excellent work and I know that you all

(Dick's P.O.V)
I woke in a real groggy state. My limbs ached and my eyes were heavy. I couldn't remember much, one or two events before I had passed out. I remembered the team coming after me, and my talk with Wally. Then I remembered a little bit about Batman beating up Joker. I hope he put that man in a body cast! Just saying. I remembered that Wally was also injured, but with his powers he should be mostly healed by now.
I couldn't open my eyes, they were just too heavy. I let my other senses take over, hoping to figure out what was going on. First I got my smelling back, that helped noth
